Multilayers and Plywood
The plywood panel is a semi-finished wood product made by overlapping various layers of wood sheet glued together. The layers must be superimposed so that the wood fibres are alternated to guarantee the panel a strong resistance to bending, compensating, and neutralizing the natural movements of the wood. The result is a stable panel that does not board.
Depending on the number of layers, a distinction should be made between multilayer and plywood, but often the two terms are used without distinction as they are the same semi-finished wood, but of different thickness. Generally, the term multilayer is used to indicate laminated panels with a thickness ranging from 6-7 mm to about 40-50 mm.
Poplar
Composition
Panel made up of "layers" of poplar veneer, generally in an odd number, glued together and superimposed on the crossed fibres.
The external faces have the grain of the wood disposed on the dimension:
largest of the panel (longitudinal) measuring 252 x 187,
minor of the panel (transversal) in the measure 212 x 312.
Uses
Poplar plywood, with its wide range of thicknesses, is widely used in carpentry, finding its greatest use in the creation of custom-made furniture, doors, coverings, and small processes.
Suitable for ennobling with laminates, wood veneers, also ideal for treatments with paints or tempera.

Multiflex
Composition
Collapsible Plywood or Multiflex is a special plywood panel which, thanks to its composition, is highly flexible. Furthermore, it is a very practical solution for producing curved structures, especially when very limited radii of curvature are required.

Composition
Plywood panel built exclusively with birch wood, glued for exteriors with surfaces coated with phenolic film (knurled/smooth) and protected edges.
Uses
The Carply panel is used as truck beds, flooring, and railway carriages.

Plated Panels

The bilaminate plywood is a panel made up of a poplar or other plywood core plated on both sides with a 0.7 mm thick laminate.
Usage
It is ideal for the construction of furnishing accessories for the home, bathroom, casings, and kitchen doors.
